Hi, Panda,
I've loved the changes that you've been making recently. I think that categorization makes the list much easier to use. Since it's one of the best pages on the wiki, do you think that it might be worth a TMSHelp mention for the relatively new people at TMSHelp who might not know about it. While some people stick around for a long time, it seems like there are some people who don't even know about the wiki. I'd be happy to make the mention. |

I added the Pear Process to the list. It links to a Pear Process page that has AriesLady's testimonial on it. Anyone may feel free to change my entry on this page. I wasn't sure how to format it.
In the long run, experience at Wikipedia suggests that we will want to avoid a feeling that certain people own certain pages, but in the short run, I think that it is great to defer to Panda on leadership of this page, since she has done so much for it. The only thing that I care about is that in the long run we can transition to having Wiki pages for most (if not all) books, because I think that dedicated book pages have an awful lot of potential in the wiki. I'm thinking of dedicated pages having reviews, book specific discussions, links to resources and other discussions, stories about how the books have helped TMS sufferers, etc.--and all with a TMS focus--I think it could be great (this is part of my whole "dare to be ambitious kick"). Authors could even check the discussion threads for the pages about their books to give feedback. I bet that Olivia, for example, would be happy to do this. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of other authors would feel the same way. From their perspective, it would be a much more efficient way of interacting with their readers than, for example, answering emails. |
