IntroductionYou may have struggled with crazy pain for many years. You may be at your wits end. However, there is hope. We know this because the authors of this wiki struggled with chronic pain for many years, and that is exactly how several of us felt. Of course, we can't diagnose you and everyone is different, but for us, the solution didn't involve surgery, needles, or expensive drugs.
It would take a long web page to explain TMS, so to keep this page short, we suggest you read our An Introduction to TMS page. It contains a 15 minute ad-free segment from well-respect US TV newsmagazine 20/20, narrated by John Stossel, who credits this approach with healing his terrible back pain.
Another way to learn about TMS is through the following videos, produced by a physician and uploaded to YouTube.
| Who we are:
We are a group of former TMS sufferers. We suffered for terrible pain and other symptoms for many years before finding this approach. We are working to found a 501(c)(3) public charity devoted to TMS awareness, and this wiki is our first project. We make no money off this website and have no financial ties to any of the medical or mental health practitioners we discuss on this site. Further, all TMS professionals on the site must adhere to our very stringent Conflict of Interest Policy.

| Our story in brief (click our name for a longer version) | | ForestForTrees | "I suffered from what I thought were Repetitive Strain Injuries for 19 years. I had pain in my hands, shoulders, neck, throat, upper back and right knee that made it hard to use a computer, handwrite, talk, sit at a desk, or even walk around. Now I do these activities freely." | | HilaryN | "I had Repetitive Strain Injury for 13 years and was completely dependent on voice recognition software to do my job. I recovered in October 2005 using a TMS approach and no longer need to use voice recognition. I have no restrictions on using the computer now."

| "I suffered from 10 years of chronic & disabling back pain sometimes resorting to using a wheelchair. I was often restricted to my own home. I turned my life around completely within 12 months of discovering TMS. Now I do whatever I want physically and hardly give my back a second thought" | | Peg | Coming soon... | |
