HilaryN123 Rename this page? 12 Nov 25 2009, 3:37 AM EST by ForestForTreesTMS

How about renaming this page to "Success Stories by Symptom"? At the moment it isn't immediately obvious that it consists of success stories - from the title it seems to be just a list of symptoms.

As there may be external links to this page we could create another page with the current name and link to this page so those links aren't broken.

ForestForTreesTMS Plans for this page 17 May 13 2009, 4:43 AM EDT by HilaryN123

I have a lot of ideas for what to do with this page, and as other people start editing the wiki, I thought that it would be a good idea to lay those ideas out, so that we can all come up with a common vision and work toward that together. Right now, the page isn't very much at all like what I think it should eventually be, but I plan to work on it a lot in the coming weeks.

I think that the pages that break things up by symptom group are going to be a very important part of the wiki eventually. When we first heard about TMS, most of us had been living with a different diagnosis for months or even years. For me, at least, it has been hard to give up that other diagnosis (RSI), so it was incredibly helpful to see that there were other people who had been diagnosed with RSI and whose symptoms looked like mine, but who were able to change their lives using Sarno's ideas.

Because of this, I've read through many of the success stories on the TMSHelp forums, and have made a spreadsheet of about 30 of them, categorized by the symptom groups that they have (RSI, IBS, Fibromyalgia, back pain, sciatica, etc.). The next thing that I want to do is to change this page so that it has an alphabetized list of symptom groups (RSI, IBS, ...) and then links to the success stories written by people who had that symptom group.

At some point, we might want to move toward having a link to each symptom group on the main page itself, and then have a separate page for each group that includes success stories, pertinent information, doctors and other professionals who specialize, etc. I think that having links to the symptom groups on the main page would be a good idea because detailed free info on TMS equivalents will be a unique feature of the wiki.

I thought we could use this discussion page to garner feedback on what this page should look like. So, what does everyone think?

I have tried to add this but for some reason I keep getting dialogue boxes asking me if I want to use the clipboard. I can't seem to get any further, can anyone help?
Thanks
