TMS Discussion ThreadsThe following is a list of links to some of the better discussions from our old forum. However, we encourage you tovisit our new foruminstead.- Recognizing the importance of not trying too hard: "Everyone's treatment is different. The techniques one person used may not be right for someone else, so if you put a lot of effort in one technique (journaling) and after a while you do not see improvement, I would suggest to try another technique like meditation, mindfulness, or affirmations."
- Can over masturbation cause RSI: "I was wondering about this. I think masturbation apart from mouse clicks, boredom and internal rages could be one of the reasons for my RSI and TMS. Masturbation is a good stress reliever. What do you all think?"
- The Presence Process and Trauma: "I really like what he says about Inner Presence and Oneness and hope to keep that up. Also I want to practise the Emotional Cleansing Process more because there are always occasions that come up and not necessarily neatly in the sessions when they fall in the PP."
- ACUTE SCIATIC PAIN ADVICE: "I have just had the results of my MRI which says I do not have a herniated disc just one that is somewhat 'diminished', also all nerve tests done in my leg are normal......it just has to be TMS would still love to hear of any other sciatica sufferers out there in cyberspace!"
- Somatic Experiencing: "I wanted to let everyone know that about a week ago Dr. Bob Evans wrote a wiki article on Somatic Experiencing. It is very in depth and interesting. Dr. Evans discusses the process of SE and how to incorporate it into a PPD treatment plan. It is a terrific read."
