TMS Discussion Threads
The following is a list of links to some of the better discussions from our old forum. However, we encourage you tovisit our new foruminstead.

  • Consensus on physiology: I don't really care what the physiology is. All I know is that I've read enough stories to believe that Dr. Sarno's books (and presumably books by other authors) transform lives. It's just my personal belief and I might be wrong, but it is what I believe.
  • Fear of Walking: My biggest problem is walking. I developed a fear of it and, depending on how stressed I feel, I start getting tired and dragging the foot after 10 to 20 minutes. At it's worst I look quite disabled which makes it worse as I feel people notice it.
  • Motherhood and stress: There is all of this tension between loving your children so much but at the same time having to deal with them so much. You don't get enough of a chance to express your own frustrations because you are supposed to be "the adult," so you must repress any very justifiable rage that you feel.
  • Tumor on toe: most people won't do the presence process in my experience. it is as if the ego knows that doing the process will cause too drastic a change to be tolerated. doing the process requires that one give up(progressively) the ability to be a victim of anything.
  • Susan Derozier’s email to the TMS Wiki: You are doing exactly what you should be in just writing whatever comes. I realize you are anxious to jump into the child experience but sometimes we need to just follow whatever words present. Sometimes it may not seem to make a lot of sense but believe me, it will.
