I am new to affirmations and have read the article on the wiki, but would just like some general phrases tossed around. I guess I'm not all that confident in creating my own. My hip/leg discomfort is programmed to think that coughing, even the most mildly, will send off a sciatic like sensation in parts of my right leg. The harder I cough, the more it hurts. I also notice pushups are still quite painful with sciatica. With my eyes it seems that shopping centers and people in general sometimes will make them sortof dry (I was harrassed in highschool for looking like a "stoner" all the time. Any suggestions? Thanks,

I have recently developed a page about affirmations. You can find it at http://tmswiki.wetpaint.com/page/Affirmations
I was wondering if anyone has used affirmations before, and if the approach has been helpful. It seems like there is some merit in the approach. I was wondering what techniques other people used and thought were successful. There is a good amount of information on the page already, but I think more can be added to make it as comprehensive as possible. Take a look at it and tell me if there is anything that I missed or that should be changed. I am always excited about having a group of people develop a page on the wiki. This is everyone's wiki so please help to make it better. You can find the page at http://tmswiki.wetpaint.com/page/Affirmations |
